North of the town Berck is a very nice location on the beach. Follow the D940 towards Le Touquet-Plage, turn left at a crossing near the beginning of the airfield. Follow this road towards the coast in the direction of a hospital. Follow the road and at the end turn right, after 500m is a parking place.

This battery had three times a 17cm gun in an open emplacement. There are many supporting bunkers; personnel, mg bunkers, water storage, ammunition and much more.
Some very rare Westwall bunker types are present at this location. A personnel bunker type R127 with a beautiful interior, a rare Vf1a personnel bunker, a R105b MG bunker at the beach with it's armoured plate and basement for the machine gun still in place.
Most of the bunkers have fallen of the dunes and lie now on the beach. It looks pretty chaotic with so many bunkers and remains on a small piece of sand. At the backside of the dunes are several 630 MG bunkers and a tobruk for a tank turret.

Follow the D940 out of Berck towards Merlimont. At the beginning of the airfield, were you make the turn to the left when you are going towards Berck-Plage, there are two bunkers in the middle of the intersection .

The bunkers, a nice preserved KSB (Kabel Schalt Brunnen) connection point for telephone lines and a fully covered tobruk type 67 for a tank turret.

Follow the D940 from Berck towards Merlimont The battery lies in the triangle D940 and D140 towards Rang-du-Fliers. Enter the dunes and the bunkers lie in the middle of the dunes.

The battery has three huge casemates, type 689 for a 17cm gun. The bunkers are very clean and have very nice shapes, the massive Todt front of the bunker is just fantastic. The guns never have been placed. The gun space is empty. The bunkers from this type were always built in strength 'A', that means the walls are 3m thick.
